Class of 2013, It's Not Too Late!
If you are in the class of 2013, and not being recruited, it’s not too late. You still have a chance to be noticed. But it's going to require a little effort on your part. You can’t sit back and wait for college coaches to find you after your season completes.
On top of that, you can’t rely on high school coaches to help you get recruited. High school coaches are great, but they lack the time and resources to effectively help athletes get recruited. What you really need is to turn to an organization dedicated to helping high school athletes navigate the college sports recruitment process.
It's not too late to build a portfolio of your sporting achievements. Start by visiting the NCAA Eligibility Center to see where you stand. Then, create a recruiting video and an online profile so that you can be found. Make it a point to reach out to college coaches in programs that you are compatible with -- and that you are most likely to be accepted into. It's important to take action as soon as possible if you want to get recruited.
